HOW NORTHAMPTON IS ENROLLING -  Nov 20, 1915

It will be of interest to our readers to know that there were, roughly, just over 11,000 men of military

age in the town revealed by the National Registration.  Of this number, just over half - say about 5,700 -

have been canvassed, and the results are decidedly interesting, for of the number about 2,000 have

enrolled, enlisted, or promised to enrol ; about 1,800 are physically unfit for service, and the remainder

have either declined or given a qualified refusal.
