The above images are taken from lantern slides that Lester found in London about 20 years ago.
Lester writes, "At the turn of the century, and earlier, there were very few photographic shops,
and cameras and magic lanterns were sold in chemists and cycle shops.
I would be very grateful if you have any images of any of these shops showing these products or advertising them.
That would add usefully to my research in the history of the magic lantern."
